On September 17–18, 2025, a two-day workshop dedicated to the role of biogas and biomethane in the energy transition was held at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Poland. The event was an opportunity for knowledge and experience exchange between representatives of the Polish energy sector and experts from Denmark, who have been successfully developing biomethane as a safe and proven technology for years.
Romgos Bio Energia was represented by:
-
- Marcin Dembowski, Head of Communications
- Michał Muraszko, Investor Relations & Acquisition – Biomethane | Substrates Director
The event was attended by Polish developers and investors, representatives of the Ministry of Climate, as well as Danish companies and institutions, which presented their experiences and innovative solutions.
The discussions addressed key challenges facing the Polish biomethane sector and the opportunities offered by implementing proven solutions used in Denmark. It was noted that the Danish model of biomethane development could serve as a valuable source of inspiration for Poland and help avoid many mistakes in building a domestic market.
Although the group photo captured only a portion of the participants – those who stayed longest for networking – the number of attendees and the intensity of the discussions clearly show that the topic of biomethane in Poland is moving beyond declarations and entering the stage of real action.
