On June 11, 2025, representatives of local governments from across Poland visited the operational biogas upgrading plant in Brody — the first such installation in the country. The visit, organized by Romgos Bio Energia, was both educational and informative, aimed at presenting biogas and biomethane technology as part of the circular economy and renewable energy development.

The event brought together representatives from municipalities where future biomethane investments are planned. Participants had the opportunity to tour the Brody facility and learn about each stage of the process — from the reception of raw materials and fermentation to the final production of biomethane. The tour was led by Łukasz Dzadz, the main contractor from the Institute of Energy in Barczewo, who explained the technical aspects of the plant and the solutions used to minimize its environmental impact.

The second part of the visit included expert presentations. Dr. Eng. Wojciech Czekała discussed the role of biomethane in the context of energy transition, energy security, and the efficient management of organic waste. Edyta Grzymska, Investment Director at Romgos Bio Energia, introduced the Integrated Investment Plan — a strategic tool designed to align project development with spatial planning and local land-use conditions.

An open discussion followed, where participants could ask questions, share their concerns, and exchange experiences. It was an excellent opportunity to address doubts, foster dialogue, and build trust around biomethane projects in Poland.
