Romgos Bio Energia took part in a workshop entitled “Biomethane in the National Transmission System,” organized by GAZ-SYSTEM.
“During the workshop we discussed the key issues for investors who plan connecting biomethane plants to the gas network. We talked about the connection process, requirements concerning the quality of gas injected into the network and financing mechanisms for biomethane investments.” – said Tomasz Balcerowicz, Romgos Bio Energia Project Coordinator, who gave a speech in the panel “Biomethane plant connection to the gas grid. The investor perspective”. He shared his experience with other participants.
The event brought together representatives of companies investing in biomethane plants, Distribution System Operators, as well as representatives of institutions – the Ministry of Climate, the National Fund for Environmental Protection, the Polish Power Exchange, who co-create the RES market in Poland. The meeting objective was to explore perspectives and best practices related to green energy in gas grids.
